ATBC2025
Awards Judging Instructions and Access

Thank you for serving as a judge at ATBC2025. Your role is key in maintaining the scientific rigor of our program and in ensuring that the most outstanding presentations are recognized and celebrated.

General Instructions:

1. Accessing the Evaluation Platform

To begin evaluating, click the button below to enter the evaluation platform.
You will first be prompted to enter a password. This password was sent to you by email.

Once inside the platform, you will be asked to enter the Abstract ID of the presentation you are judging (e.g., A-1024). This ID is available in your assigned judging sheet or the session program.

After submitting the ID, the system will display:

  • Presentation title and list of authors

  • Abstract summary and session information

  • Evaluation form with five scoring criteria

You will then be able to complete and submit your evaluation. You may repeat the process to assess multiple presentations using their respective IDs.

2. Scoring Criteria

For each presentation, please score the following components on a scale from 1 (very poor) to 10 (excellent):

  • Scientific Merit – Topic: Is the research question relevant and well framed?

  • Scientific Merit – Methods and Results: Are the methods sound and results meaningful?

  • Quality of Presentation – Communication: Is the oral/poster presentation clear and well delivered?

  • Quality of Presentation – Visuals: Are slides or visuals effective, clear, and well-designed?

  • Only for Bacardí Award – Relevance to Conservation: If the presenter is eligible, does the work contribute significantly to conservation efforts?

3. Submitting the Evaluation

Once you've filled in all scores and confirmed your eligibility:

  • Click “Submit Evaluation”.

  • A confirmation message will appear.

  • You may then proceed to evaluate another presentation using a new Abstract ID.
