Oaxaca's biodiversity and biocultural richness are astonishing, showcased through its tropical mountains, valleys, rivers, shores, and seas. Reflecting this diversity, the ATBC 2025 Oaxaca Global Meeting logo incorporates symbols representing Oaxaca's unique biophysical and cultural heritage. Each letter of ATBC in Spanish carries a specific meaning: the "A" stands for Agua (water), the "T" for Tierra (land, symbolized by the iconic petrified waterfalls of Hierve el Agua), the "B" for Biodiversidad (biodiversity), and the "C" for Cultura (culture).​
